Store Reports

TruCommerce Reports provide read-only business summaries for selected periods, useful for sales and operational analysis.

What this feature is for

Reports turn order/payment/catalog activity into summaries for a selected period. They help answer business questions; they are not the place to repair a suspicious order or transaction.

A practical way to use it

  1. Choose the reporting period and report relevant to the question.
  2. Look for unusual changes/patterns.
  3. Open the underlying Orders, Products, Customers or Transactions when a number needs explanation.
  4. Use consistent date ranges when comparing periods.

How it connects to other features

Reports aggregate underlying store records. Payment-focused totals can differ in meaning from order/revenue totals when refunds, pending payments or partial payments exist.

What to expect after changes

Changing an underlying order/payment can change later report results; reports themselves are read-only analytical views.

Where to find it

Open TruCommerce → Reports.

Using Commerce reports

Start with a date range and one business question—sales, orders, customers, product performance or similar—then narrow the available filters. Reports summarize existing orders/products; correct the underlying Order/Product/Stock record instead of trying to “fix” a report total.

Reports summarizes store activity so administrators can monitor performance without reviewing orders one at a time.
