TruCommerce Customers are shopper records used to associate orders, contact details and account activity with the same person or business.

Commerce customer records support order history and customer-facing account workflows.
TruCommerce Customers connect shopper identity/contact details with order history. Use the customer record to understand repeat activity and maintain accurate fulfilment/contact data without treating every order as unrelated.
Orders are the main source of commercial history. Customer Account features expose the shopper’s own order information where enabled.
Changing contact/address information affects future interactions; it should not be used to rewrite the factual shipping/billing address stored on a historical order.
Open TruCommerce → Customers.
Use this area to understand the customer’s store relationship and order context. Keep identity/contact data accurate because checkout, order communication and account history depend on it. Payment card/account details remain with the payment provider/TruPayments rather than being managed as ordinary customer fields here.
