The Dashboard is the first page of the admin panel. It collects the most important numbers from your site and from the plugins you have installed, so you can see at a glance what needs attention.

The Dashboard. Tiles for the site, then one row for each active plugin, the traffic graph and recent users.
The Dashboard is built from widgets. The core site contributes its own; each plugin adds a row of figures when it is active. What you see also depends on your role: people without permission for a feature do not see its numbers.
| Tile | What it shows | Where to look closer |
|---|---|---|
| Post Views this week | How many times blog articles were read in the last seven days. | Blog Posts |
| New Accounts this week | Accounts created in the last seven days. | Users |
| Open / Closed Support Tickets | Tickets waiting for an answer, and tickets that have been closed. | Support Tickets |
| Orders, Sales, Customers, Products | The shop at a glance (with TruCommerce). | Store Dashboard |
| Total Transactions, Paid Total, Pending Total, Active Payment Methods (Declined) | Payment figures from every payment gateway (with TruPayments). | Payment Dashboard |
| Today’s Revenue, Checked In Today, Unpaid Total, Active Services, Active Staff | The business of the day (with Booking). | Booking Dashboard |
| Traffic Graph | Visits to the site day by day over the last 30 days. | — |
| Popular Posts | The most-read articles with their author and number of views. | Blog Posts |
| New Users | The newest accounts with their status and how long ago they joined. | Users |
Totals are read-only
A tile is a summary. To correct a number, fix the underlying record (a booking, an order, a ticket) rather than the tile.
For details open the dedicated dashboards from the top of the sidebar: Booking Dashboard, TruCommerce Dashboard and the TruPayments dashboard. They show charts, lists and shortcuts for that plugin.
When a new version of TruCMS is available, the Dashboard shows an alert with an Update Now button. When small fixes are available, the Patches entry in the sidebar shows a red number.
Back up before updating
Create a complete backup of the site files and the database before you press Update Now, and update at a quiet time. Follow Updating TruCMS and apply small fixes as described in Patches.
| Symptom | What to do |
|---|---|
| The traffic graph is flat and Popular Posts is empty | No visits have been recorded yet. Visits and views are recorded as visitors open your public pages. |
| A plugin row is missing | The plugin is not active, or your role lacks its dashboard permission. See Plugin Manager. |
| The numbers look old | Clear the cache (see Cache) and reload. |
| I cannot see the update alert | It appears only for people who may manage updates (the manage updates permission) and only when a newer version exists. |
