Admin Dashboard

The Dashboard is the first page of the admin panel. It collects the most important numbers from your site and from the plugins you have installed, so you can see at a glance what needs attention.

The administration dashboard with summary tiles, a traffic graph, popular posts and new users

The Dashboard. Tiles for the site, then one row for each active plugin, the traffic graph and recent users.

What you see

The Dashboard is built from widgets. The core site contributes its own; each plugin adds a row of figures when it is active. What you see also depends on your role: people without permission for a feature do not see its numbers.

Totals are read-only

A tile is a summary. To correct a number, fix the underlying record (a booking, an order, a ticket) rather than the tile.

Module dashboards

For details open the dedicated dashboards from the top of the sidebar: Booking Dashboard, TruCommerce Dashboard and the TruPayments dashboard. They show charts, lists and shortcuts for that plugin.

Update alerts

When a new version of TruCMS is available, the Dashboard shows an alert with an Update Now button. When small fixes are available, the Patches entry in the sidebar shows a red number.

Back up before updating

Create a complete backup of the site files and the database before you press Update Now, and update at a quiet time. Follow Updating TruCMS and apply small fixes as described in Patches.

I cannot see the update alertIt appears only for people who may manage updates (the manage updates permission) and only when a newer version exists.
