TruCommerce Dashboard

Use the store dashboard to see the current shape of sales activity and jump into the records that need attention.

TruCommerce dashboard

Use the Store Dashboard for a quick operational view of the commerce module.

What this feature is for

The TruCommerce Dashboard is the store operator’s starting summary. It surfaces sales/order/customer/product activity so staff can quickly decide which operational list needs attention.

A practical way to use it

  1. Review orders/sales and stock/customer indicators.
  2. Open Orders for fulfilment/payment issues.
  3. Open Stock when availability needs attention.
  4. Use Reports for period comparisons and deeper analysis.

How it connects to other features

The dashboard aggregates Orders, Products, Customers and related payment activity; it does not maintain separate copies of those records.

What to expect after changes

Use it as a triage screen. Any correction should be made in the underlying order, stock or configuration workflow.

What the dashboard is for

The TruCommerce Dashboard is an overview, not an order-editing or inventory-adjustment screen. It brings together the most important store counts and recent activity so staff can decide whether to focus on orders, sales, customers, or catalog work.

Where to find it

Open TruCommerce → Dashboard.

Summary cards

CardHow to use it
OrdersShows overall order activity. Open Orders to review fulfilment/payment state for individual orders.
SalesProvides a high-level sales total for the dashboard view. Use Reports for deeper analysis.
CustomersShows the store customer count. Open Customers for account/order context.
ProductsShows catalog size. Open Products for pricing, inventory, visibility, tax, shipping, and product content.

Sales Overview

The Sales Overview chart helps you see changes over time. Use it for direction and trend spotting; when you need to explain a number, open the orders/reports behind it rather than editing data to make the chart look different.

Recent Orders

Recent Orders is the fastest route from the dashboard to current fulfilment work. Each entry links to the order and shows its total. Open the order before changing status, payment, refund, or fulfilment information.

Add Product shortcut

The dashboard includes Add Product for catalog creation. Before adding products in bulk, configure the store’s currency, tax/shipping behavior, inventory defaults, and selling locations in Store Settings.
