Template Library in the Page Builder

The Template Library is the fastest way to build a page. From inside the Page Builder you can browse hundreds of professionally designed sections and full pages, preview them, and insert the ones you like with one click.

Sections and full pages

The library holds two kinds of layout:

KindWhat it isUse it to
SectionOne band of a page: a hero, a feature grid, a pricing table, testimonials, an FAQ, a call to action, a timeline…Build a page by stacking several sections, or add one section to a page you already have.
Full pageA complete page (Home, Landing, About, Pricing, Contact, Blog, Booking, Shop, Product, Service and more) already composed from sections.Start a new page from a finished design, then replace the text and pictures.

The library contains well over 700 layouts. They are designed with your theme’s colours and fonts, so a layout automatically picks up your branding when you insert it.

Opening the library

  1. Open the page with Pages → Edit Content to start the Page Builder.
  2. In the toolbar, choose the Template Library button (the grid icon, right of the save icon).
  3. The library opens in a window over the editor. Close it at any time with the × in its corner; your page is not changed until you choose Insert.

Finding a layout

ControlWhat it does
Search layouts…Type part of a name to narrow the cards as you type.
All layoutsEverything in the library, with the total.
NewAppears when the latest release added layouts; shows only the new ones. Each category also shows a small N New badge when it contains new layouts.
Sections → All sections / a categoryAll sections lists every section; choose a category such as Hero, Features, Services, Pricing, Testimonials, FAQ, Contact or Call to Action to narrow the list. Module categories (Booking, Shop & Products) hold live layouts for those modules. Cinematic holds scroll-driven sections with large, animated scenes.
Full pages → All full pages / a categoryThe same idea for complete pages: Home Pages, Landing Pages, Booking Pages, Shop Pages, Product Pages, Service Pages, About Pages, Portfolio Pages, Blog Pages, Team Pages, Contact Pages, Pricing Pages and more.
CountsThe number beside each entry is how many layouts it contains.

Choose a category on the left to list only those layouts. Scroll the cards to load more.

Cards load as you scroll, so you can keep browsing a long category without paging.

Reading a layout card

ElementMeaning
ThumbnailA picture of the layout.
New badgeAdded in the latest release.
Premium badgePart of the premium set. You can preview it, but inserting it requires an Extended License. Without one the card shows Extended license required instead of the Insert button.
Name and categoryThe layout’s name and the category it belongs to.
PreviewOpens the layout in a new browser tab on its own, using your theme, so you can scroll through it and see its animations before deciding.
InsertAdds the layout to your page.

Inserting a layout

  1. Choose Preview to check the layout in a new tab (optional but recommended for animated layouts).
  2. Choose Insert. The window closes, the layout is added at the end of the page, the editor scrolls to it and selects it.
  3. Drag the new section to where you want it (use the Move icon on the selection bar, or reorder it in Layers).
  4. Replace the sample text and pictures with your own, then choose Save Content.

Layouts always insert at the end

To put a layout in the middle of a page, insert it and then move it. To start a page from a full-page layout, open an empty page first (or delete the content you do not need after inserting).

Each inserted layout brings its own styling with it, so it looks right in the editor and on the public page without changing the rest of your page. Layouts for Booking and TruCommerce also load those modules’ styles. Pictures in layouts are sample images — replace them with your own before publishing.

Layouts that show your own data

Many Booking and Shop layouts display real records — your providers, services, locations or products — instead of fixed text. After inserting one, select it and look for a picker in Settings; choosing a record fills the layout with that record’s name, photo, price and links. See Data-Bound Sections.

Using the library without the builder

The same catalogue is available as a page in the admin menu: Appearance → Template Library. It lets you browse in a larger grid, preview layouts, and export or import layouts as packages. Inserting is only done from the Page Builder.
